Re: More Trouble in the Market

Leaving the poor man for the Guards and family to take
care off, Lisa, Mahli and the others set off for the
south gate.  It was too far to walk and there was a
good chance they'd get there before the suspect got
away.

The sun was starting to dip below the city wall and
send long shadows along the streets, prompting most of
the people in the market to start making their final
purchases and head home.  They passed a lot of people
pulling hand carts who were also heading to the gates
to return home.

At the gates a Officer of the Guard was arguing with a
number of country folk about when the gates would be
reopened.  There were a bunch of other people standing
around, some sitting on their wagons, who were all
waiting to leave the city.

A few of those people stood out to Lisa.  One was a
short, somewhat stout person wearing a hooded cloak
and who was standing alone near the city wall,
watching what was going on.  Near by was a man wearing
a blue cape and who had a bronze torc that identified
him as a priest of Heca.Another man that Lisa noticed
was one of the people arguing with the officer.  He
was holding the reigns of an ox, but look surprisingly

well dressed to be a farmer.

Lisa will try another Seek Earth and hope one of the
people there proves interesting.  




OOC: I tried getting one of the folks I table top with
to join in, but no luck.  The SJ Games forums have a
game finder forum that might get some more players.
